CEO

Julien Wera is a seasoned business leader in the games industry who started his career in the MMO space before stepping in the AAA side of the industry through his work on Tom Clancy’s The Division. Driven by passion for creating vibrant, engaged gaming communities, IPs and game worlds, Julien's experience includes work on the Battlefield and Mirror's Edge series as well as Crusader Kings, Cities: Skylines and more before he decided to take the leap and join the founding team of Moon Rover Games.

When he's not working on making games, Julien likes to play them, with his favourite series going from Yakuza to Civilization, and he also loves cooking for his friends and family, playing TTRPG, reading, and spending time with his young child.

About Moon Rover Games

Moon Rover Games is a game development studio located in Stockholm, Sweden. Our founding team has spent decades working on blockbuster franchises such as Battlefield, Far Cry, Star Wars Battlefront, Tom Clancy’s The Division, Mirror’s Edge, and more, and eventually decided to strike out on their own to explore new worlds and new ways to create them.

Our first game is an ambitious cooperative action game set in a new IP and designed to generate unique emergent gameplay stories that players can truly make their own.
